About AllAboutBaja

AllAboutBaja.net has been created by a small group of folks who happen to share a great love of everything about the incredible Baja peninsula. We have lived in Baja for a while and figured it was time to put together a really complete and easily navigable website about the entire Baja peninsula.

There are a lot of websites that are dedicated to Baja, or some special aspect of Baja. There is a ton of information about Baja on the web. Some of this is excellent information, some not so good. Many of the current Baja sites are great, but many more are outdated, and even more, are poorly organized, making them hard to navigate. Some of the existing sites are so far off base that they shouldn’t even exist.

What we hope to accomplish with AllAboutBaja.net is this; A one-stop site where visitors will be able to find all of the information they need, along with links to other sites that provide, even more, excellent Baja information.

This site is a labor of love that was a long time in the planning and research stages. We started to plan this site more than 10 years ago. Some work, mucho siestas, a few vacations, more siestas, and the infamous “posibly manaña” attitude put the launch of this site on hold more times than you would think is possible. We have made mucho trips (too many to remember) up and down Baja, gathering new information and updating information we already had. These trips are necessary for our sanity and to make it possible to develop the most complete and up-to-date Baja knowledge base available.

This site will never be finished! We will continue to bring you updated information, both written and visual. We will be adding more webcams, articles, videos, new and updated maps, and additional content on a regular basis. As we enjoy the adventure of exploration so much, we don’t see this project as ever being finished.

If you have (or know someone else who has) ideas for content or information that you feel is relevant to this website, please let us know. We appreciate any kind of input and will review all suggestions, written articles, and quality photos of the many locations and activities that exist on the Baja peninsula. Although we will review all submissions, we will only consider using those that we feel are well-written and contain useful information. Any photos submitted, and used, will be given photo credit by way of mouse-over text, embedded within the photo when it is placed on our site. We cannot promise that anything we receive will be used on this site, but we CAN promise that everything submitted will be considered.
